Please keep in mind that some of these projects have not yet been subjected to our code review process, but we want to call them out here for preliminarily catching our eye based on our fundamental analysis process.
Jambo Technology (80%)
Hoping to onboard Africa’s next generation of Web3 users, Jambo Technology is gearing up to educate people in Africa about play-to-earn gaming and the income opportunities it can create.
Why we like it
Jambo Technology’s approach to bringing Web3 to the masses is unique because of the fact that they are educating the uninformed about play-to-earn and blockchain technology through their own “Jambo Academy.” With the overarching goal of becoming the most prominent gaming guild in Africa, Jambo is dedicated to building a super app that will educate, bank, and entertain the continent.

Jambo Technology has received $7.5 million in funding from Tiger Global Management, Delphi Digital, Coinbase Ventures, Three Arrows Capital, and Alameda Research.
Team
Created by James Zhang (@0xJamboJones) and his sister (@aliceinmetaland), whose family has been in Africa for three generations. After graduating from NYU and Columbia, both siblings ventured into crypto and further pivoted into the sector when realizing the potential of becoming Africa’s first gaming guild.

With many competitors in the segment, the DerbyStars team is distinguishing themselves by providing players with more in-depth gameplay developed by an all-star gaming team. Worldspark studios first game EdenBrawl brings Street Fighter-like gameplay to the blockchain world. With an overarching plan to bring multiple games into an immersive metaverse called “Eden,” Worldspark hopes to create a self-contained economy built around play-to-earn incentives.
Why we like it
EdenBrawl is centered around play-to-earn mechanics and doesn’t require an expensive NFT as a prerequisite to start earning. With a focus on strategy and gameplay first, many NFTs in EdenBrawl will be purely cosmetic. According to the team, they are pushing the envelope, “providing an evolved combination of mechanics that delivers dynamic combat, streamlined strategy and some seriously hype-inducing moments.”

An offshoot of Yield Guild Games, IndiGG is utilizing the power of Polygon to empower a new play-to-earn economy in India. Taking a similar approach to other established gaming guilds, IndiGG is building out key partnerships to grow individual exposure to the potential of cryptocurrency and the power of earning in third-world economies.
Why we like it
Like Jambo Technology, IndiGG is targeting a rapidly growing demographic of young individuals in underdeveloped countries. By giving them the opportunity to earn substantially more money than an average individual in their region, gaming guilds like IndiGG are expanding the scope of cryptocurrencies around the world.
