Moonrunners has been all the rage on NFT Twitter this week. This project was first brought to our attention by Metrics Ventures COO Nancy Chen after she purchased two NFTs. Thank you Nancy! The most recent project to gain momentum after a free stealth mint from an anonymous team, Moonrunners looks to build on the precedent set by Goblintown. This is the first project we’ve seen since mfers gain traction without creating a Discord channel. Instead, Moonrunners takes to Twitter to engage its community with bewildering lore about the moon and Spaces that mostly consist of holders howling in unison. Tuesday night was the first full moon since the launch of the project, and holders saw the backgrounds of all 10,000 NFTs change to show a full moon behind the wolves. Recently, the team started burning NFTs and invited the community to do so as well. It is rumored that burning a wolf wil reward you with a new dragon NFT.

Disko Kittiez – PFP

Disko Kittiez is a collection of 10,000 feline creatures designed to “curate a music listening experience that inspires creativity and boosts productivity.” This project is being launched by none other than former Token Metrics Director of Research, Forrest Przybysz. Disko Kittiez takes a 7.5% royalty fee on each secondary market sale, 2.5% goes to the team and 5% goes towards holder listening incentives on the Disko streaming platform. Disko is a music streaming platform offering productivity music such as lo-fi beats and classical, holding a Kitty and listening to music on the platform allows you to be paid out in SOL. This is similar to the popular STEPN project, which allowed holders of their NFTs to get paid for walking. You can apply for the project’s whitelist here.
Team:
Former Director of Research at Token Metrics and founder of Cryptostackers, Forrest, is the lead behind the project. The artist is an anonymous personality by the name of Rxse.
Utility:
Holders can earn SOL by listening to music on the Disko platform.
