OnChainMonkey (OCM) is the first 100% on-chain PFP NFT collection created entirely in a single transaction. OCM started with the idea of creating a first-of-its-kind piece of on-chain generative art. OCM was launched as a stealth, free mint in September 2021. The collection of 10,000 simple geometric monkeys was generated solely by smart contract code.

On June 29th, 2022, OCM is launching OCM Karma, a collection of 20,000 monkeys, where 10,000 will be paired with a Genesis monkey. Genesis holders will receive their paired Karma by consuming an OCM Dessert NFT. The additional 10,000 will be available for a public mint. OCM Karma monkeys were designed by Academy Award Nominee and Art Director, Drew Winey.

Team:

The OCM team consists of 23 people who have previously worked at Google, Facebook, Amazon, startups, and other crypto companies. There are 3 founders who lead the project:

Danny Yang – CEO:

Founded Stanford Bitcoin Meetup in 2013. Founded Taiwan’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. Presented an NFT solution to land titles to the government of Egypt in 2015. Built one of the first visual block explorers for Bitcoin and Ethereum. PhD CS Stanford, BA Harvard.

Amanda Terry – COO:

Former digital media business development executive at Twitter, NBC, and Neustar. Community Lead, 501c3 ACTAI Global. Managing Partner, ACTAI Ventures. MBA from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and BA from Princeton University.

Bill Tai – Chairman:

VC, Athlete, and Chairman of ACTAI Global, a 501c3. The first backer to commit to Zoom and seed investor in Canva, Wish, Treasure Data, Dapper Labs, and more than 20 companies that have become publicly listed companies.

Utility:

Holders of OCM NFTs get access to the OCM DAO, $BANANA Token, IRL events, community metaverse areas and items, merch, and holder-only Discord channels. By eating an OCM Dessert NFT, OCM Genesis holders will be able to receive their OCM Karma NFT as an airdrop.

RUNNER is a Web3 multimedia sci-fi racing project built by Hollywood all-stars. RUNNER is set on the planet Omega where speed is power and racers can teleport through wormholes. The RUNNER universe will consist of a comic book, an NFT PFP project, possibly a video game, and eventually a TV show under the production company Clubhouse Pictures.

Currently, investors can purchase the limited-edition physical comic book for $29 on RUNNER’s website. There will be 5,000 comics for sale and the first 1,000 buyers can claim a First Edition Collector’s NFT. Every purchaser of the physical comic will earn an Allow List slot for the PFP drop that is coming later this year.

The RUNNER PFP collection features 10,000 unique Omega characters. Each PFP will have nation-specific traits: Quorin, Avalonian Union, Laurentiaan Province, or Gon’Dwanna. The traits, clothing, and backgrounds reflect your culture and the community one races for. RUNNER is minted on Ethereum, but utilizes LayerZero technology. With LayerZero, you can transfer your PFP to any blockchain. The first 5,000 PFPs are reserved for collectors who own a Runner comic. The other 5,000 Allow List slots will be selected through a randomizer.

Team:

RUNNER is created by production company Clubhouse Pictures and NFT/metaverse experts Metaversal.

The core team consists of 4 Hollywood all-stars:

Bryce Anderson worked at United Talent Agency, in creative development at Warner Bros. on movies including Lego Batman, The Meg, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
Bryan Unkeless and his Clubhouse Pictures production company produced Birds of Prey, I, Tonya, Bright, Dollface, and Kate. Previously, Unkeless spearheaded the development and co-produced The Hunger Games series.
Cedric Nicolas-Troyan is an award-winning Hollywood film director born and raised in the southwest of France. Cedric is known for Kate, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, and Snow White and The Huntsman.
Blaise Hemingway is a writer/producer of movies, television, VR, books, comics, and plays. He spent several years on the Disney Animation Story Trust. He recently worked on Vampires vs. the Bronx on Netflix and Clifford the Big Red Dog for Paramount Studios.

On RUNNER’s website, the team is quoted saying:
