Dear Token Metrics Community,
We are excited to bring you a comprehensive recap of our latest premium webinar. Here, we provide an objective overview of the key insights and analyses that were shared.
Exclusion of Meme Coins
For this week’s analyses, we have chosen to exclude meme coins. Our rigorous evaluation criteria highlight that these assets score low on both technical and fundamental aspects. Our focus remains on projects with long-term growth potential based on strong technical foundations and robust infrastructures.
Apex Fusion Overview
Apex Fusion is an upcoming network integrating three distinct layers/blockchains, aiming to merge the best features of Bitcoin and Ethereum ecosystems. These layers include:
- Prime Layer: Utilizes Bitcoin’s decentralization and security.
- Vector Layer: UTXO-based for high-speed transactions.
- Nexus Layer: An EVM-compatible layer 2 for implementation of Ethereum tools.
With a significant $6 million raised at a $180 million valuation and a highly experienced team, including a COO from Cardano-linked IOHK, Apex Fusion is positioned for potential success despite its current closed-source code base.
Solv Protocol
Solv Protocol makes strides within the Bitcoin ecosystem, particularly in staking and liquid staking. Achieving a TVL (Total Value Locked) of over $1.75 billion and securing backing from notable VCs like Binance Labs, Solve presents an interesting opportunity, with potential future developments expected, including coin issuance or airdrops.
Seed Project
Seed Project is stirring interest with its Telegram mini app, allowing users to earn “seed coins” through gaming. Though not yet listed, the project has garnered significant user traction with millions of members in its Telegeram.
PAiT
Operating on Solana, PAiT offers a decentralized exchange featuring copy trading, stablecoin staking, and native token rewards. Its unique approach to copy trading within the decentralized space is noteworthy.
Mango Network
Mango Omni-Chain is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to improve cross-chain functionality and scalability by incorporating OPStack technology and MoveVM (Move Virtual Machine). It features Multi-VM parallel execution, enabling both the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and MoveVM to run concurrently.. It aims to unify liquidity pools and connect tokens across chains, currently progressing in the testnet phase.
Andrena Internet Deployment
Andrena is deploying a decentralized internet service targeting web3 and crypto, covering 7,500 buildings and over 800,000 people in NYC. This ambitious project follows the Helium model but caters to broader coverage rather than individual homes, suggesting a substantial market potential.
Investment Strategy Insights
Ian Balina shared insights into his contrarian investment strategy, favoring Andrena over Peaq. He believes Adrena’s retail-friendly tokenomics make it a strong candidate for significant market performance.
Cryptocurrency Regulatory Environment
With the upcoming US elections looming, the regulatory environment’s impact on crypto markets is a significant discussion point. The potential introduction of pro-crypto regulations could serve as a catalyst for a long-term crypto bull run.
Innovative Projects Highlighted
Projects such as Mango Network and Solv Protocol were emphasized due to their intriguing propositions. Solve Protocol, in particular, focuses on Bitcoin holders seeking yields on multiple chains through their holdings, with possible airdrop opportunities.
Token Sale Updates
Lucky’s coin sale is active, targeting a 70k hard cap before closing on October 28th. A sizeable portion of the tokens is allocated to the community, including Astra stakers and token holders, with a focus on decentralized exchange liquidity.
Scroll Network Insights
Scroll, an Ethereum L2 ZK rollup, recently raised $1.8 billion with a current market cap below $1 billion. Despite a recent airdrop, Scroll’s trading volume and market participation indicates strong potential due to its solid technical foundation.
Emerging Blockchain Trends
Abdullah attended IoTeX demo day and discussed projects like Nubila and Qualu, which focus on global weather data collection and internet connectivity improvement, respectively. He also speculated about a possible “DePin season” similar to the “DeFi summer” of 2020, anticipated around 2025.
New and Established AI Projects
AI and gaming sectors continue to capture attention, with several promising projects like Grass, Bittensor, Masa, and Koii making waves. Although market performance varies, these projects’ technological underpinnings suggest long-term potential.
Astrobot NFTs and TMAI Airdrop
Our community engaged in discussions regarding Astrobot NFTs, where participants can hold multiple NFTs in one wallet to partake in the TMAI airdrop.
Market Analysis
Currently, Bitcoin is outperforming altcoins, with sectors such as proof-of-work coins leading the market. Despite the popularity of meme coins, traditional and technologically sound projects are expected to gain traction, potentially fueling an altcoin season in the future.
Concluding Remarks
We concluded the session by thanking our community for their continued participation and engagement. As we navigate the ever-evolving crypto landscape, our commitment to providing insightful, objective analyses remains steadfast.
Stay informed, stay cautious, and stay invested in projects with solid fundamentals.
