Stacks is an open-source network of decentralized apps and smart contracts built on Bitcoin, using a new safer and predictable language named Clarity for development. Stacks unleashes Bitcoin’s full potential as a programmable base layer. A Proof of Transfer consensus mechanism is used to connect Stacks and Bitcoin chains.
Stacks technology is good and is being developed by a large and solid team of experienced developers. As any other smart contract platform, Stacks will have to fight to attract developers and end users, but it should be an easier task for them as they profit from Bitcoin recognition and are doing things to help transition to their platform.
