Dear Token Metrics Community,
In our latest webinar, we covered a broad range of topics, from promising projects and market trends to specific investment strategies and portfolio management. Here’s a comprehensive summary of the discussions:
Project Overviews and Market Insights
KyC:
We dove into the metrics for KyC, noting that while the project shows thin trading, it holds potential for long-term market growth.
Natix Network:
We explored the market correction, token vesting schedules, and Natix performance over the past 30 days and the week. This analysis is crucial for understanding the project’s current and future viability.
Aethir:
We shared our thoughts on Aethir, focusing on its community, FDV, and tokenomics. This project’s long-term prospects seemed promising.
Peaq:
Our sentiment on Peaq was bullish, considering its upcoming launch, market trends, historical investments, and potential to achieve a higher FDV.
Top Cryptocurrencies Discussion
We also analyzed the top three cryptocurrencies, excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, and discussed their potential for market cap growth. This kind of analysis helps identify potentially lucrative opportunities beyond the well-known giants.
Token Metrics Token and Oracles
Addressing questions about the Token Metrics token launch, we provided instructions on qualifying for the airdrop. We also discussed oracles, specifically Chainlink and Pyth Network, and assessed their potential to generate multiples during a bull market. Chainlink’s growth potential, in particular, was highlighted.
Market Update
Recent volatility saw the crypto market cap fluctuate between $2 trillion and $2.4 trillion, ending on a bearish note. Despite this, meme coins like Gigachad continued to perform well. Helium’s potential carrier offloading announcement to increase H&T burn was noteworthy.
Bitcoin remains dominant, but meme coins also showed resilience. However, most market sectors, except for Web Three infrastructure, had low trader grades.
Project Highlights
Vana:
An AI project that stood out with its potential for long-term investment. Vana aims to allow users to own and store their data through a blockchain-driven marketplace, set to launch in September/October.
Other Research:
We reviewed Autonolas, Allora, Gravity, Bracket Labs, and Lombard, emphasizing a non-trading focus and long-term investment strategies.
SPVs:
Legal special purpose vehicles (SPVs) were discussed as a means for co-investing in projects. The number of SPVs offered varies based on market conditions.
Investment Strategies
We advised against short-term trading, advocating for long-term investment strategies. Diversifying portfolios across large cap, mid cap, and low cap projects in AI, gaming, and web three infrastructure is crucial for managing risk and maximizing returns.
We also emphasized caution when investing in early-stage ventures with long lock-up periods.
Past and Future Investments
Reflecting on past investments, we acknowledged some regrets but emphasized that multiple investments are necessary to find successful ones. Projects like Peaq, Movement, Million, and Andrina were highlighted, with significant investments made in these areas.
Specific Tokens and Market Indicators
We discussed the valuation and potential of new cryptocurrency launches on various platforms such as Binance’s Launch Pool and Coin List.
AI and Market Trends
AI projects such as Vana and Allora Network were discussed for their potential and limitations. We also speculated on the impact of new AI technologies like OpenAI’s rumored product, codenamed Strawberry AI, expected in November 2022.
Ongoing and Future Plans
We touched on plans to expand project allocations and possibly offer second-tier deals or unfilled allocations to ensure more participation. The discussion about Mintlayer’s bullish turn following its migration to Mainnet was also noteworthy.
Conclusion
We concluded the session by encouraging the community to bring their questions to the next webinar and expressing gratitude for their participation.
Thank you for being part of our community. We look forward to continued discussions and insights in the upcoming webinars.
Best Regards,
The Token Metrics Team
